Arrivals

With spring arriving, its hard not to have a smile on your face at all times, to take a big breath and soak in some light.
My mother came for a wonderful two weeks, Luca was in seventh heaven, but did not understand when she had to go home. He thought the guest bed was hers. forever.
He knows now though when it gets hot out, we get go Gam and Pops'. He wakes up every morning to ask if its hot out yet...
Marco also has been away and studying his bum off for a license that allows him to captain bigger and more powerful motor yachts. The exam is 100% in english .
Needless to say he passed with flying colors. duh.
Now winter has passed and flowers are blooming. Time flies so fast it makes me want to capture and treasure each moment, its hard not live the present and think or worry about the future and what is to come, or the to do lists, and what hasn't been done, and what needs to be done. I keep having to remind myself to really enjoy the "now". These "now" moments will never come back, we can repeat them, but they won't be the same.
And I'm talking about the moments where you truly thank the world for your blessings.
Heres to those moments and many more to come.
